Insufferable. I've always tried to avoid them, but having attended a left-wing school, I've had to endure them during occupations and assemblies, and more recently in the car with friends I got stuck listening to this damn CD. The artistic potential of the band, especially that of Meg, inevitably takes a back seat to the political side: the worst expression of that left that, as a user has already pointed out, arrogantly and pedantically believes it can pontificate and judge everything from above, adding to it, I might add, that irony, that mocking little smile that they think makes them even more superior. Lowbrow demagoguery is a good way to appeal to our beautiful Italian youth that only waits for catchphrases and slogans from protests, a vulgar instrumentalization of politics for musical ends and vice versa, depending on how you want to see it. Thank goodness they broke up and that Zulù is practically starving.

Stoney, you're too optimistic about the future of these queens. Give it one or two albums and those drooling girls will switch their attention (better yet, they'll be directed) to some other trendy little boy band put together by the latest Cecchetto and promoted to death by TRL and the like. And they won't be able to live off the royalties from four sold records, especially since their money is gobbled up by the record labels; they certainly won't leave it in the hands of the kids. By 20, they'll have to find a job, and maybe they'll open a cesspool cleaning cooperative with the Finley, since they've always handled shit with skill...

Great Depeche, simply.

If Blunt just stuck to writing, he would do music a great favor... he has this shaky little voice that makes you want to pee instantly...

I quote rebelde. And I add that as a voice, even though it is in tune, (and as a female) it certainly makes one throw their hands up in despair, to say the least...

Forgive me, but all these anti-American-Western-bad-and-racis t paranoias make me smile, quite a lot. What did the greatest army of the ancient world go to Greece for, a vacation? Those Greeks are bad and racist who wouldn't let themselves be plundered, raped, and exterminated, indeed. The warmongers were the Spartans who, rather than submit, decided to fight to the death, even after their King was dead.
The funniest thing is that these anti-fascist and anti-American obsessions don't come only from ordinary users scattered on the web, but even from authoritative reviewers (I read the one in XL from Repubblica, which practically claimed that 300 is an apologia for fascism).
There’s an attempt to interpret the ancient world, with its values, dynamics, and mindset, with the eyes of modern man, or rather, with those of the modern pseudo-pacifist waving the peace flag (or is that trend over now?) solely and exclusively for the wars under the stars and stripes. And don’t tell me that 300 is just a transposition of a comic book that takes considerable historical liberties to exalt certain characteristics of war and machismo: we would have heard and read the same paranoias even in front of the most meticulous and precise historical reconstruction, let’s not kid ourselves, in recent years it has become too cool and trendy to be an anti-Bush pacifist, and for that, any pretext is good enough… ah, the movie is stunning. Not a masterpiece worth a 5, but stunning.

The saddest thing about these ridiculous groups is that the lobotomized mannequins who listen to them (mostly teenage acne-riddled kids, but I also know some 25-year-olds who go crazy for this crap) believe that the music behind their countless covers (because these thieves with their little moves, aside from causing flatulence, can't even come up with an idea of their own) is actually original work of theirs... I asked a friend of mine (25 years old, of course) "Do you know that the tune of pump it, jump it, whatever the hell it's called, is taken from the soundtrack of Pulp Fiction?" "Eeeh, what? What? What is a pulp fic-scion?"...

The frontgirl, Nicole whateverhernameis, is the typical porn site latina... the others, compared to her, can at most serve as a cock teazer, for warming up, but the main course remains my beautiful dark-haired babe.
