Regarding the second part of your post, I agree; in fact, I don’t perceive a decline in appreciation for either the Latin European (nor my own ;-) ) but I would add that, working in sports centers and gyms, I notice a significant (and, I’ll be pedantic, worrying) trend of middle-aged women (wives, mothers, aunts, sisters) ready to have a child (if they weren’t menopausal) with a Brazilian capoeira instructor who is LESS athletic than many Italian teachers, LESS educated, LESS good-looking (!) than others, and not very likeable either. When you break it down, what remains? That MAYBE the lady attributes value to the "long dick" quality, a HYPOTHETICAL quality when it manifests but still TAKEN FOR GRANTED in those who are of color. In short, perhaps Aldo from Fregene has a longer one than Jose from Salvador; why should he be discriminated against a priori? This is outright incitement to hatred! Violence and social control, which you rightly emphasize as essential to being alpha males, I perceive nonetheless in the agitated and threatening gestures of the MTV rappers pretending to be mobsters.

Oh, Pablo, we used to write together. Yes, I thought of "Colpa d'Alfredo" (she went home with the negro, the whore!), which talks exactly about this kind of feeling, but undoubtedly the racism of the 30s, 40s, 50s (and 60s?) had roots different from "penis envy." Only when the word spread at a grassroots level (and especially through the media, then with the internet, think of porn films), when the world (particularly the female one) became aware of the greater average size of black men’s penises, did all this take shape. Probably starting from the 70s onward, what was once an underground rumor for "insiders," or a "scandalous" truth to be hidden under respectable bourgeois attire, became public knowledge, creating a somewhat morbid curiosity for the forbidden fruit, which is, by the way, a lack of respect for the fruit itself! It could respond: "What, just yesterday you despised me, at most you ignored me, and now that you’ve heard the news, you’re so nice, you’re putting on a show, you’re rubbing against me? Good, good... good whore!"

In short, there is a double racism: the black man is stripped of his emotional and intellectual dignity, but in return he is granted priority as the ideal sexual partner, while the white man is deprived of his sexual dignity while his other two are acknowledged. Now, the problem is that everyone, both white and black, desires full acceptance of all three faculties, which means neither of the two "categories" is fully satisfied, superficial people of color aside ;-)

I'm tragically suspicious that today's racism towards black people is profoundly different from that of forty years ago... today, white people fear more than ever the sexual supremacy of black men, capable of unseating them from the alpha male role without much trouble, and they are thus jealous of "their" women, feeling resentful of the often excessive admiration that eager milfs and young whores generously grant them, with every glance or even just with their eyes. And this drives educated black men even more insane, as they find themselves degraded to the status of breeding animals. But the various fucking 50 Cent types are celebrating...

Really great Shò, congratulations!! Besides the records already mentioned, it's worth listening to "Urban Bushmen," in my opinion! One small note: Muhal Richard Abrams is a man, and he is a very important pianist who perhaps deserved a bit more recognition, but it’s no big deal.

Oh my God, am I the only one who can't stand it? Maybe it's because in elementary school they made us sing that repetitive and meaningless jingle ad nauseam (with which he made billions, by the way).

The vote is for the only interpretation of Bach I know (of course the Air on the G String), which is quite dignified. I deeply love Bach like Bonny, and I feel a bit like him... I didn't know Michelot was on bass! His collaboration with the great Dexter Gordon isn't bad at all, right from that period ("Our Man In Paris").
