Well, the usual excellent writing quality combined with a delightful irony! I now have an unshakeable opinion of her: I won’t waste even a second of my precious time listening to her hyper-produced, empty, and impersonal music, while the five minutes it took to glance at her photos were already dedicated to her in the past. She’s done with me; she should stop calling me!

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart The Violin Concertos / Sinfonia Concertante
Voto:
Personally, I place K 216 at the top of the group, immediately followed by K 218 and 219. These three represent the highest moment of his serenade style; what was once a festive music of immediate consumption transforms into a "universal style" with extraordinary expressive possibilities. The first two, on the other hand, are a few steps lower, fairly ordinary examples of Mozart's "standard" serenade style. The Concertante thrives on the continuous dialogue, the relationship between viola and violin, two "travel companions" ready to climb the hill together, supporting each other and reversing their roles. I possess other versions, for the concertos (which I reviewed K 216 and K 219) Anne-Sophie Mutter with Karajan and the Berliner Philharmoniker, for the concertante Itzhak Perlman and Pinchas Zukerman with Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra. All top-notch, in short... Abbado included, obviously!

The snippets of text you mention in the first paragraph remind me a lot of an extraordinary piece by Leo Ferré: "Tu non dici mai niente". See for yourself

Uto Ughi can sometimes be a bit too drastic, but he tore Allevi apart; that's enough to owe him eternal respect. And anyway, he's got a point...

Anyway, "..smell of sperm and pussy and sweat" I find to be a frequent and congenial condition, and it could become the heading of my profile! I might even put it on the back of my business cards... HA HA

Iside, who is F.R.? That phrase, a masterpiece of visceralness (what better adjective?), has been buzzing in my head since I randomly heard the track on the radio years and years ago... I don't know why, but in the recesses of my psyche, I associated it with Fabio Concato, though I never verified...
