Sonny Criss with George Arvanitas Trio Live In Italy
Voto:
Hi Caravan, long time no see! Sonny Criss is truly an amazing saxophonist, and at least his "This is Criss" and "Sonny's Dream" from the late '60s are two masterpieces!! I'm not familiar with this one, but I have no doubt Sonny unleashes his usual killer phrasing :-)

Yes, me too, quite...I still prefer the late nineties-early two thousands!! I had forgotten the grades :-)
Brad Mehldau The Art of Trio, Vol. 3

Pianist of exceptional sensitivity, with a unique harmonic, rhythmic, and timbral richness!! And a wealth of ideas during some improvisations...beautiful this, the Art of the Trio vol 2 and 4, both live, with daring incursions into up-tempo, the beautiful solo from Live in Tokyo. A little less so the recent production in my opinion...

Great choice...I’m not familiar with this particular album, but I have Abrams’ Young at Heart/Wise in Time, which I find beautiful! You remind me of someone, you know?
