Here. And now that I've seen Pasolini mentioned in a review of Baglioni, happy 2012 to everyone.

I, on the other hand, would like to double down on this one. But how many women has he had? In the span of 3 albums, at least twenty-five thousand have passed through. There was the country girl, the one with the thin t-shirt, then Marilù, and then "E tu" (which is actually the title: "E tu"). But that's where he sings about true love, the feelings that rip your soul apart, the emptiness inside when she leaves you. When instead, he just comes off as the classic cad who first charms them with profound poetry, then sulks when they finally realize the trick (and the other 24,999) and leave him.

I know a few songs by this guy thanks to my parents who listened to him when I was a kid, but I never suspected that beyond the gravity of the pieces themselves there could actually be something worse: that these pieces are actually part of larger concepts, like pieces of a huge mosaic of horror. I mean, not only has he managed to create songs that would make even the Dalai Lama feel suicidal on their own, but he has even structured, organized, and woven them together, giving them an "anthological" form. I have chills.

But here, no one thinks that when he writes the lyrics he doesn’t want to communicate anything: it’s just that "wanting to communicate" isn’t enough; anyone can have a vague idea in their head to share, the real issue is "how." It seems to me, from the little I’ve heard, that this isn’t a Cobain of ours writing random phrases because his brain is fried, nor is he a fool who can’t write. He uses the effect of nonsense in a criminal way, the kind that, if you put in the effort and use your intelligence, you can understand deeply, because you are special and sensitive and unique and cool. After all, it doesn't take much to search for meaning in what he writes: it’s like "connect the dots" in a puzzle magazine. And if you succeed, you understand, you go beyond, unlike those other whiners with narrow views who just enjoy being a pain in the ass. And now I’m waiting confidently for someone to come and tell me that everything I’ve said is true, and it’s precisely for this reason that he deserves admiration.

"In 2007, can you blend stoner and psychedelia?" It depends. If the result is the same as combining a historic cover and the image of an owl...

A boy meets his girlfriend's father for the first time. Very embarrassed, he takes him aside and says, "You know, I'm very honored to meet you. You see, I would like to ask you... well... for your daughter's pussy." The father, stunned, can’t believe his ears: "Perhaps you meant to say my daughter's hand!" And the boy replies, "No no, just no jerking off."

@Bartle, I'm replying now because I couldn't earlier. How can I put this, well, I find you really likable, honestly, believe me, I'm not messing with you, but you haven't considered three little things: 1) that popularity on DeBaser is not a value for me. I say whatever the hell I want whenever I want. I open DeBaser, see a review and comment, that's it. Being seen as likable, pleasant, or funny by the numerous bored little professors who roam this site during their coffee breaks is not a priority for me; 2) as for the topic of work, I've spoken in the past with people who have shared with me observations, beliefs, and concerns very similar to mine, so trying to paint me as a pathetic loser is a failure: forums like this can also serve to find a comparison and dialogue with like-minded people, not just to shoot off cabaret nonsense and be the jokester to gain clicks on "do you think it's beautiful"; 3) that saying I’m a nuisance and that metalheads have taken my woman (big laughs) doesn’t erase the unfortunate fact that anyone listening to this stuff thinking it holds any artistic value has issues. I mean, it's not like now that you've made a joke, metalheads have magically become less idiotic. Just putting things back in their place, without hard feelings. Take care ;)
