The Verdena are NOT the only practical demonstration that great music can be made in Italy. That doesn’t take away from the fact that they are talented and that this album is their masterpiece. However, it has been highly reviewed in here! XD

I have many fond memories of this book, one of the first I read several years ago (coincidentally, right in school). I also recommend the film, which, while perhaps less impactful, still conveys the essence of Uhlman's work.
