Dear Vivis (you have no idea how much I like you), did you, by any chance, like the person in question? I've always considered him a bluff in every way, a mere paradigm of hypocrisy disguised as false intellectualism. And as you rightly said, TV is now largely skip-worthy (can we say that, right?).
