Well, you’ve filled our heads so much with this apocalyptic folk that I can no longer refrain from getting to know it. (Out of curiosity, how old are you, memento?)

Oh God, nothing (or almost nothing) annoys me more than people who badmouth an entire gender. Usually (read: always), it's personal hatred not backed by objective reasons.

In fact, I, who don't know Harvey, have understood many things about the album from that review. It's not true that she didn't talk about it; she just did it in a non-canonical way (and I think this is a merit).

I think I'll be passing by these parts then :-) I have no idea if I will like this apocalyptic folk or not, but you've piqued my interest. I wholeheartedly agree with what Lovelorn said. P.s. Love, see how many talents I have? When we get married, I will make you lots of beautiful cakes :DDD

What a drag, what a bore... but I’ll respond anyway, out of respect. 1) When exactly did I call you a jerk? It’s not my habit (unless in glaring cases). And I don’t think you are one, at least it doesn’t seem to me. There’s nothing disrespectful in my post, absolutely nothing. There is a respectful critique of certain statements you made, nothing more. 2) An example of disrespectful criticism is your comment on the review by azzo. You should be the one moderating your words! A person who says that the only way to criticize a review is to call it ridiculous, stupid, brainless, and to yell (in uppercase, meaning shouting) at the reviewer to be ashamed, shows that they don’t even know where respect, education, and humility live. Be the first to show respect, and others will respect you without you having to ask for it. I repeat, you could have expressed your thoughts with the same strength in very different ways. And especially by adequately motivating them. 3) I didn’t say that all reviews on deb are in the style of that by azzo. I only said that many of the most appreciated ones are actually non-reviews (read here, for example: Suites Per Violoncello 1-6 - Johann Sebastian Bach - Mischa Maisky - Recensione di odradek DeBaser is not OndaRock. 4) <<Just because a mass of people appreciated it, does that mean it was a good piece of writing?>> No, it just means it deserves respect, the writing as well as the people who appreciated it. Since for you the review is mononeuronal (which is different from saying: "I don’t like it because... etc."), anyone who appreciated it very much becomes mononeuronal for you as well. I hope I’ve made myself clear. But what a drag, what a bore... What do you say, shall we end it here?

It's not a matter of kindness; your talent is a fact! To find one of your reviews among the recommended ones, you have to scroll through pages, and I think that's a shame. (By the way, it's one of those that sparked controversy - the first one about Blutharsch). I must say, I don't know half of the groups you review! Some things I believe would not interest me, but others definitely would. For example, Autumn Tears; I would have never known them without your review, and they're really wonderful.

As for azzo's judgment on this of yours, I’ve already said I don’t share it. It's a bit sad that memento, to get some feedback, has to review a Nazi group. This is the best review on home and no one cares about it (like mine), bah! Mementomori, the most underrated reviewer of DeB :-)
