Every now and then it pops up again! Captain, sometimes I think it’s not just the covers :-) Sorry Mien, but do you have all of these originals?? (I’m a bit scared of the answer...) :DD

The other day I picked up the next "Another..." and I have to say that I find everything you said in there, but for now it’s a bit tiresome, what can I do? You're absolutely right to bring these things back up. As usual, there's no shortage of comments on these proposals...

The review is beautiful; they are one of the gaps I promised myself to fill as soon as possible.

Urka! So @bjorky, I totally agree with you, in fact I don't contest anyone who gives a 5 to this album, far from it, I just contest that someone tells me that if I don’t give it a 5 then it means I haven't understood it! That's all. @supersoul, you hit the nail on the head and, as I've done before, I quickly grab your point. @Opel, please don't twist my words and put things in my mouth that I didn't say. I repeat that I don't contest your 5 for Selling, which is completely legitimate, I only contest the fact that you tell me that if I don't agree then I haven't understood the album. Period. Then you mention "Third," but that is definitely an album that is "difficult" to understand or hard to listen to; this one, well, it's only "difficult" for someone who's never heard anything prog in their life!! Look, in his latest post, super mentions T2, a great hard-prog band reviewed recently and hardly known by 5 or 6 users...

<< One last thing, in my humble opinion, anyone who gave less than 5 to Selling England just didn’t understand it fully. >>, what an absurdity, Opel. Look, in a review from 8 or 9 months ago, I think I gave this album a 5. Today I give it 4 stars instead; could it be that I understood it better before and now I've lost my mind? Or could it rather be that in the meantime I’ve listened to many other things and consequently reassessed the value of this album that you all mythologize? In any case, even though I’m convinced of my judgment, I will never say that anyone who gives this album a 5 hasn’t understood it, bah...

First of all, welcome XBend. I, on tiptoe and without wanting to argue, endorse supersoul and hope you soon turn your attention to lesser-known albums, perhaps ones that haven’t been reviewed yet, as there's a need for that. Re-reviewing this over-familiar album yet again seems to me a fundamentally pointless operation, even though, of course, it’s legitimate. So if I may, I have two pieces of advice for you: focus on lesser-known albums and, if possible, avoid minute-by-minute descriptions of the album; in my opinion, they serve no purpose and are tedious (this review seems well written, but I’m sorry, I couldn’t make it to the end). Then, and here I repeat things I've said before but I will never tire of doing so, I’m a bit sorry that there's a flood of people who keep coming to talk about these well-worn albums that have already been discussed ad nauseam, and then when it comes to reviewing lesser-known but equally interesting and valid works, not a soul bothers to comment, especially all those who profess to love prog yet only ever talk about Genesis, Yes, and ELP... Guys, there are hundreds of other progressive bands and similar acts, some even better than these, that deserve attention. This album has 3 fantastic tracks, the rest is negligible if not outright bad, in my opinion, starting with the very banal "I Know What I Like" to the lengthy and verbose "Battle of Epping Forest," not to mention the overly sentimental "More Fool Me." It's an iconic prog album, and that's fine, but let’s realize that fortunately, prog is not just this.

Mmm, perhaps an overly positive review for this album that frankly left me a bit disappointed. It gives me the impression of being neither fish nor fowl, trying to explore many paths but failing to fully pursue even one. In the comments, I've seen Atomic Rooster mentioned; to me, an album like "Death walks Behind You" is distinctly superior to this, which seems rather "harmless." The 11 minutes of the title track, now that's a masterpiece, but it seems to me the only truly remarkable piece on this album, which still manages to earn a solid 3 stars. You, however, give it 5 with your eyes closed.

@47, yes, that's great. Anyway, all the PJ albums have a cardboard cover except for the first two.
