Well, you must agree that over time you can change your opinion about an album. Try to find the T2 on soulseek, and if you don't know it yet, I recommend Chris Goes Rock's blog. As for Cressida, I've written a review if you're interested. Anyway, there are other truly unmissable names: Arcadium, High Tide, String Driven Thing, just to name a few examples of 5-star albums.

Well, I don’t buy them because I prefer other things and you can’t buy everything! I did download something of theirs, and if I like it I’ll buy it later, but not everything, come on ;-))) Anyway, I’m being ironic, but let it be clear that I have the utmost respect for both you and the artist in question.

Well, I was just joking, it was just to say that this guy has made a ton of albums, many of which are forgettable (given that you yourself gave him 1 or 2 stars), and I think you are the only one in the world to have them all original!

<< The music (with the sole exception, perhaps, of "Train Long-Suffering") is stripped to the bone: a few guitar notes, a few drum thuds, handclaps, overwhelming and decadent strings ("Black Crow King"), a handful of chords on a dusty old piano. Cave's voice alone is more and more an "instrument unto itself." Now it’s little more than a whispered lament, a desperate prayer for redemption ("Knockin' On Joe"), now a chilling bark of rage ("Tupelo"), it sneaks grinning among the folds of those daring enough to listen, only to unleash upon them its full load of resentment, fanaticism, and frustration. The exasperation of the tones remains, the screams, and the cavernous abysses of his possessed voice endure. >> This is how, with just a few words in the right place, perfectly legible (and understandable to anyone) and far from boring, an entire album can be described better than in a soporific 800-line track-by-track.

Well done, although here too you might get a bit too lost in biographical details that are so complex they become somewhat uninteresting after a while. The album, from what I’ve managed to listen to, is beautiful; I agree with the << muted and soft sounds and the resulting warm and relaxed atmospheres >>, but it makes me sleepy, it's stronger than me. I will try again with confidence!

He he, "passion and emotional transport," but will the great human case Starblazer ever have read the masterpiece review by Bartleboom on "Firstborn is dead" by Nick Cave? I fear not, otherwise the modest one, instead of self-praising, would go hide out of shame.

I completely agree with every word of Bartleboom's post; tbt should be avoided like the plague always and in any case (except for rare occasions when it might work), boring, repetitive, useless, unaesthetic, senseless. Of course, it's just my opinion, do as you please. I just want to say that personally, I haven't been able to finish reading any of your reviews so far. Look, Starblazer is one of the worst reviewers here, forget about him and go read the masterpieces of Donjunio, Hal, Odradek, Pretazzo, Supersoul, the same Bartleboom, etc., and you'll see the abyssal difference. You write well, it seems, so why waste your talent?

"A person who doesn’t know the album could have clearer ideas thanks to the track by track," but I don’t think so, on the contrary.
