Forgotten Cochran? In England, he’s more of an idol than Presley; as Bubi puts it perfectly, he’s a cult figure. It was during a British tour that he crashed in a taxi (while Gene Vincent made it out okay). For me, the most beautiful cover of "Summertime Blues" is the devastating one by Blue Cheer. Cochran was more than a singer; he was an incredible guitarist admired by Jimi Hendrix. Listen to his brutal version of "Milkcow Blues" (while the young Elvis on his early Sun records delivers it wonderfully in a country style...) and his brief solo midway through the track...

Captain Bullheart is not influential, just please really close it here because God already has too many of you to forgive for what has been said on this page...

But please dictionary... you sound like Capezzone with his sophistries from the Processo di Biscardi when he goes on TV to defend Berlusconi, for goodness' sake...

the dictionary is right... it didn't say they are the most influential, but only those who have marked the history of music the most.

What does Scaruffi have to do with it? I believe that only a follower of Scaruffi could include the Vampire Rodents among the most influential bands in the history of music; it’s math, too.

Geeno, in fact, I told you I had doubts that "cretino" is too soft, so do something nice and pick a random insult that sounds more rock, OK?

@cappio, as I see it, reviews shouldn't be written out of indignation just because the artist or album isn't in the database and we're on a mission for God. Since on debaser you don't get a dime (and neither do other sites that ask you to write reviews for them), one isn't obligated to write reviews, and I don’t think the doctor has prescribed it to heal an ingrown toenail. In my view, a review emerges after listening to an album; it’s as if the album pulls the words out. If the album isn't in the database... well, if it already is... that's bad. (geeno will have to forgive me for the pontification, even though I see that his favorite sport is commenting, not on the reviews but on other people's comments)

Look who's talking about pontificating: none other than geeeno, Mr. zero reviews and two thousand pontifications, ahahahah it's true that when you meet a group of girls, the first to speak is always the ugliest, and if you meet a group of friends, the one who talks too much is always the dumbest (not very clever, right geeno?)...

Every now and then someone shows up to express their frustration by putting their hands in their hair because there's no album by so-and-so or such-and-such... I see that Billy Joel has seven reviews, while greats like Chris Bell or Elliott Murphy don’t even have half a one. Let’s see if someone comes along to make a sort of non-review with their hands in their hair, just to raise the flag of conquering the nation on the globe like Chaplin/Hitler in "The Great Dictator," so we can all be a bit happier and content. ;-)

Oh my goodness, what a "robotic" review to read. It sounds like the weather report from the Lomazzo (Como) station...
