The crow-Pasolini admits his defeat as an intellectual, my father, a communist railway worker in the 70s, would change the channel when he saw him on television, I as a teenager didn’t understand anything, I was fascinated by that gray wandering in that metaphysical landscape. Pasolini understood everything (see the signpost in the middle of the plain that points to Instambul) dear Poletti, it’s us who don’t understand a damn thing, as demonstrated by your rather good review and the comments that have followed and will follow, including mine.

I had the second album with the Oblivion Express, the one before this one, I don't remember the title but it had a beautiful cover similar to Roger Dean's - Yes, which I remember vividly; it was a great record...

Are you 13 years old?!? If you like rock music, use your ears more and leave the pen alone; maybe you'll realize that there are live albums better than the unplugged one made in the MTV studio by Nirvana, and above all, you'll prevent some other thirteen-year-old from believing in such nonsense.

Vinyl in like-new condition of "Nevermind" by Nirvana available for trade for "Huevos" by Meat Puppets in similar condition... the copy I have has been worn out...

You're too good, guys. I would add that I might be naive, but Australian bands from the post-punk-garage scene have always given me the impression of something genuine, far from the machinations of the English or US scene. Bands like this, the Celibate Rifles, Radio Birdman, and even the Hitmen of Johnny Kannis in their greatness have always conveyed the idea of people playing for PASSION. Even the Hoodoo Gurus, who had all the potential and merit to break through on an INTERPLANETARY commercial level, have remained cult bands. I can only hope that other people can share my feelings; it would mean that my belief isn’t just a vain illusion. P.S. the latest album from 2007 by the Beast of Bourbon IS AWESOME!!! And I've read about a Perkins even more depraved at Italian concerts, even more than Rudi Protrudi!

When I saw it, I was a kid... I was so fascinated that I remember my hands were shaking. I recently watched it again, unfortunately in DVD, and it seems to me there’s a fundamental theme that you unfortunately don’t mention, which is the contact with nature—spontaneous in the case of the indigenous people for whom it is part of everyday life, and absolutely foreign to the classist colonizers. This is a fundamental theme in another great film that I promised myself to review once I overcome my ancient laziness.

@alessioiride: if you're out of toilet paper, I'll give you my flannel shirt...

Damn, I see so many wasted names in the "grunge phenomenon," but no one mentions the best of the bunch, Mother Love Bone. For their "Gentle Groove," I would even wear a flannel shirt...hahaha

what an honor for Nirvana to have the Kirkwood brothers as guests... "Huevos" and "Monsters" by the Meat Puppets are unmatched for Nirvana, even technically.

Somewhere I read that much of the rags and sandals worn by Lebowski are actually part of Jeff Bridges' daily wardrobe... AhAhAh, a great one!
