Ah bubi, if that's the case, we agree, these are people who play for passion. For example, Johnatan Richman had all the credentials for much broader success, but he didn’t care. The musical approach, however, is different because Tav Falco does a lot of psychobilly covers of traditional pieces that are now forgotten. Jonathan, on the other hand, is more of a songwriter who ironically refers to the r&r of the past, also through the form of the song or children's nursery rhyme; between the two, I think he is the crazier one.
