I'm sorry, but these guys crack me up; they have poorly digested David Sylvian with a whole bunch of years of delay.

Very good paloz, even though with a few bold statements (films to pass down to posterity)... and now expect a comment from andrea or london (it seems to me they're the same) who will hassle you for having revealed too much about the plot and the hyperactive ones who will say it's a slow movie.

Franco Franchi on par with Totò...Paolo Villaggio on par with Totò...dear ilpazzo, as Mario Merola says to Little Tony in "Sud Side Story": ...I won't even comment!

they called him Lawrence of Arabia; he liked these little games...

...anyway, I want to say that if I were in bed with the flu and in a fragile mental state, a movie like Waterworld, with all its nonsense, would do its dirty job.

@bjorky, thanks for the ballbreaker, but don’t you think your ears might be too sensitive for the UCP? If you pass by my place, here in Munnezza Daunpezzo, I’ll take you to see Vanzina’s Christmas movie and then my collection of Chinese vinyls... @OleEinar, why do you have this doubt? It’s already been twenty years, for heaven's sake, and up here on Waterworld-Debaser, I think only NIBBIIO knows them, who probably got the logo tattooed on his shoulders just like little Enola with the map of the unknown lands in the Costner film... @SBK: that’s exactly it, but it was called U.C. Corporations, the guys had to change it to Productions...

Just the scene where Costner "goes fishing" being towed as bait, and once swallowed by the big fish, he shoots from the inside to tear it apart.... after that, it's sushi for everyone...!!!

Well, the fact is that live, The Dictators were amazing, and that live from '81 is largely based on tracks from this album, except for the cover of the Stooges and one of the Velvet Underground. After all, that '81 show was sort of a reunion for a live performance; they practically didn't exist anymore. Rather, for those who like the goofy style of The Dictators, go listen to the 25 minutes of the album by Manitoba Wild Kingdom that came out in 1990 if I remember correctly. It's practically Shernoff, Ross the Boss, and Handsome Dick in great shape.

@vortex, the covers on this album are "California Sun" and "I got you baby" by Sonny Bono. I'm sorry if the review might suggest they are from the Dictators, but I was emphasizing the goofy vibe of the track by Shernoff and his buddies. Besides, I also remember a version done by the Pretenders. Regards.

Anyway, Night Porter opened the door to several sleazy films set in the Nazi era, including "Salon Kitty" by Tinto Brass...another videotape attached to that shitty weekly magazine "Il Borghese."
