@aje As far as I know, the film was directed by Ragona, but the version for the USA market was "supervised" by an American director. I don't know what this supervision consisted of.

"Moreover, what more can one desire from life than Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan?" Easy: Bob Dylan as Bob Dylan. Watch the long documentary by Scorsese about Dylan, essential for anyone who loves music; the rest (Haynes) is just a tip.

Right, primiballi "Il Caimano" is not Berlusconi, it’s all of us, me who doesn’t do a damn thing for others, you who spend 400 euros on Police, an anti-communist who’s just a pissed-off jerk, poletti who consults Morandini and Mereghetti before voicing his opinion. Let’s hold on tight to Moretti in this shit of a cinematic Italy.

Ondarock, but how can we compare the violence of Tarantino and that of Gibson? The former chops off a leg and throws in a machine gun to make us laugh, while the latter shatters it to make us feel how much it hurts.

I was surprised (negatively) to see System of a Down among their listens: bring back Bruce Licher.

The vote is to be understood as a personal adherence to the campaign "Damnably Smash DeBaser" launched by sfascia carrozze in their latest review.

"since at his house in the Riviera he enjoyed playing the piano at 2 AM, waking everyone up" and who did he think he was, Mick Jagger?

@kurt the ending isn’t that revelation. The ending is revealed in the review of "The Last Man on Earth," and at the beginning of the review, there's a nice warning...

"I say that Clash and Ramones are punk exactly like Husker Du and other bands that came after... they are just different ways to interpret it... my idea, in any case, is that punk is not music..." But do you think one has to put up with this bullshit without telling you to fuck off? For battlegods, it takes little to not define others as obtuse; as long as they get a 4 or 5 on their nice little assignments, they can say stupid things all day long, but they will always be cool. Whoever gives them a 1 or 2 is someone who doesn't understand a damn thing and ruins their day. HAIL TO BATTLEGODS!

If you read Matheson's book, in the end, you will wonder who the real monster is. Neville discovers that there are not just "vampires" but also other genetically modified "living" beings, who suffer from light and symbols like the cross, but are "eeseri umani". He realizes this but continues to kill because he believes that the "first" race is the only one entitled to inhabit the earth. This is Matheson's point, and given your criticisms of this film, I am convinced that the one most faithful to the spirit of the novel is the Italian "L'ultimo uomo della terra".
