Sure, you're really getting on my nerves a bit too much with this whole Neapolitan waste story. Now even lu cumpare pedraelighe is making his little joke, it’s like me saying that all Sardinians are a bunch of drunkards on myrtle. The fact is that the gentlemen from the north keep things a bit cleaner because their industrialists paid the Camorra to bury their toxic waste in the Caserta lands, saving up to 75% to have a document proving the REGULAR disposal of waste. All the while knowing that their untreated poisonous garbage was poisoning the Campanians. Let the end of the world come in 80 days.

It may make you smile, but I have been listening to music since 1973, I have bought hundreds and hundreds of progressive, psychedelic, hard rock, grunge, west coast, stoner records, etc. etc. But when the four chords of "Holiday in the Sun" kick in, with Rotten barking like a dog with adenoids, the magic of rock is renewed for me (even today). I feel sorry for you guys.

Yes, vortex, but these were also around with different names since 1974, and I believe this album and the first one by Devo came out in the same year, 1978. Then it’s clear that the American band had entirely different intentions and music. Anyway, even Elio e le Storie Tese emerged painted like Rockets, ahahaha. PS As far as I remember, they weren't Italians but 100% Parisians, including producers and the record label.

@lewis: Ryan Bingham, whose review you can read, made a beautiful record with his "Mescalito" from last year that you won't take out of your player for a while, but it's more tied to "tradition," having Joe Ely and Terry Allen as godfathers and Marc Ford, the slide guitarist of the Black Crowes, as producer. On the other hand, the Chickasaw Mudd Puppies were a quirky duo from Athens, GA (produced by none other than Michael Stipe) who played rural blues with harmonica, guitar, a washboard, and a voice that sounds identical to Les Claypool from Primus, two crazy guys.

More than Kraftwerk, the Rockets in terms of performance have always reminded me of Devo, who I believe started the same year. I think they only found success in Italy, but I have the same impression of Vortex; they made us feel more than just their presence.

Honestly, they have always impressed me as musicians who prioritize technique over emotion, resulting in my lack of passion for their work. I have the impression that the review, in its perfection, somewhat reflects this characteristic of the Gilgamesh.

and it will be welcome even if slaps 1!

Zannab, it seems you didn't catch the (thick) irony that instead Gustavo grabbed (the bat) on the fly...
