The self-titled first album features a superb first side; this second one follows in a similar vein but is sunnier and less psychedelic. There are no hypnotic and rather dark tracks like Planet Claire, Lava, Rock Lobster. Being an old fool, for the stupid game, I would throw in "Echo Beach" by the two Marthas and "Working on my love" by Polyrock.

Two instrumental suites? Damn, I always thought Ian Anderson sang too; I need to ask Lino Banfi to book me an appointment at Amplifon ... among the best records of 1972, and that’s all. For the review, I'll send Gerald Bostock (who has now become a sumo wrestler and not a poet) to your place.

the movie is extraordinary, the soundtrack by Wang Chung fits really well but personally I don't think I would listen to it outside of the film :)

one of my all-time favorite records, the kind you let play on loop... you wouldn't guess they were English, maybe like Mudhoney but less ignorant. It's a shame about the poor, lackluster review; they deserved more... what they do with Peter's trip by Electric Flag is mind-blowing, worse than the stoned Peter Fonda in the eponymous film by Roger Corman.

There are countless records that have not passed the test of history but continue to buzz on the turntables of those who have managed to discover them while the bestsellers collect dust. For me, the gem remains "Of Dreams," a sweet little candy of pure lysergic acid in the style of "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," sprinkled with Steve's fuzz and the drumming of the drummer, who remains stunning throughout the whole album. As far as I know, Steve Morgen picked up a few dollars from this experience, then jumped into small roles in crime TV shows and eventually set up a bodyguard agency :)
