Oh my dear Fabia, what a curious character you are... the asterisk on your being "in a relationship" I don't know whether to laugh or cry about. But do all the maniacs come to you??? The candles behind the photo make me a bit uneasy and add an apocalyptic touch to the overly national Catholic references in the review (really too much). If there were more irony behind it, perhaps it would make a bit more sense, but I fear you might actually be convinced! By the way, from the literary reviews, you show you have a brain to sell. A few reservations about some things you listen to... so, in conclusion, I confirm the epithet "curious." BYE!

Without taking anything away from your knowledge, I believe that when people like (I’ll only mention a few that I'm sure of): Bono vox, Zappa, Mercury, Battisti, and even Pausini, passing through R. Waters and then touching Dylan, having passed through Sinatra, Paolo Conte, Ruggeri, and leaving aside folks like the Gallagher brothers (Beatles addicted), practically EVERY name in music that matters (whether good or bad, I won't say), bow down before this masterpiece, perhaps a bit more consideration, beyond personal tastes, should be given!
Keep in mind that when the album was released, it shook the world. People still had "Love Me Do" ringing in their ears! Only three years had passed, and you were confronted with absolute gems like "Eleanor Rigby" or sounds like those in "Tomorrow Never Knows" and "She Said She Said" that still seem strange today! That LP marks a turning point in the history of music, in "POP" composition, and in cutting-edge recording techniques (which we still borrow today in digital). You, on the other hand, see darkness almost everywhere, even in the splendid "Taxman," soaked in an engaging sound, with sounds and solos never heard before, and an irony that escapes you just because you've decided to throw crap upstream, which always looks cool... Then you catch us on certain things, so you're not the last of the fools (see "Here, There & Everywhere," etc.), and it's clear that you understand, but I can only give a thumbs down, well-covered by the rest of the world (except for the idiot Scaruffi, but that doesn't matter much). Bye.

I just can't seem to like Pink Floyd, despite repeated attempts. They are overrated, as often happens to those who have done important things in an exciting period of significant innovations. I would be a fool not to recognize their rightful merit of originality, and a sound that is an unmistakable trademark and, honestly, really unique. However, when I put on a CD and after twenty minutes the music still hasn't really started, boredom prevails. With the musical ideas pure enough to be found in any album by Zappa, waters & C., they could have churned out 31 two-hour LPs. Too diluted, in short, (FOR ME), but still truly great. The album itself is definitely one of the most sought after, valuable, and least boring; everyone should have it, even just for the sake of musical culture. A very good review, quite honest, perhaps a bit too erudite but, compared to certain burps that are read, really interesting.

You're strong. You're so "full of yourself" that you really risk coming off as charming as a shovel to the teeth, but in the end, you make me burst out laughing : )
The review is something only you understand, but that too is indicative of "Style." I can't help but wonder if you haven't even heard the album... I GIOCOFREDDO are very, very POP, and for this reason, they're easily targetable by those who feel, or want to appear, and perhaps are, alternative at all costs. It's the story, and in this, you are anything but an innovator... because dabaser is unfortunately clogged with comments like yours. But I reiterate, you're strong.

The CD of Sting's son (fictioplain), which I was able to find only in the USA after having seen it before the Police in TURIN, is one of my best purchases in recent years.

I also loved this album, but it hasn't aged well. Looking back at the video for Got my mind... (HORRIBLE) or listening to some tracks disturbs me, because it has sounds that are very 90s, a bit like the shirt he's wearing on the cover... Anyway, it's one of the most structured and substantial works of the magnificent George's solo career, as it was written during a period of good artistic inspiration. A somewhat superficial but passionate review.

Fossati is a giant that doesn't say much to me, but still a giant. The songs you mentioned are the last ones I listen to from the album if I really have some time left, but this is also a personal opinion. I had the pleasure of meeting Cristiano (I'm one of the extras in the video "sei arrivata"). He is not full of himself at all, humble and approachable, with a sad face for obvious reasons. I have some of his albums, and indeed, they lack a bit of substance. But he is and remains an overflowing talent.

All I need is the touch in "le acciughe fanno il pallone," it's mind-blowing (especially the percussion), because everything else, in my humble opinion, is inferior. Then I won't hide that I could have done without Fossati's "touch." But that's a very personal opinion.
I've also met NACO!!! super nice! But he had a bad ending... Bye
