I would say that Blaze has a very different voice from Bruce, and like you, I say that he is a great singer even if he’s not at the level of his predecessor. However, Maiden know how to adapt their instrumental compositions depending on the singer. Personally, I wouldn’t have seen this album with Dickinson on vocals.. anyway, I don't think it’s better than No Prayer for the Dying.. even though it's stunning (like all the Maiden albums, and they all deserve a 5)! The Sign of the Cross is a masterpiece.. moreover, I correct your mistake, preceding X Factor is Fear of the Dark as a studio album.
