Tiziano Ferro Alla Mia Età
Voto:
Tiziano Ferro is much better than both Battiato and Fossati. It's a bit sad that our big Tiziano has to shell out money to collaborate with these two. It's not surprising that instead these two collaborate with Ferro; one needs to pay for the new villa in Calcutta, the other has bought his third one in Genoa...a 4 just out of trust, even though I haven't listened to it yet (and I don't think I will).
Giovanna Martini Diretta Stadio... Ed E' Subito Goal

Damn, I came here to see if anyone had Giovanna Martini's phone number, and instead nothing, another disappointment from Debaser... P.S. Sorry Il Paolo but I had promised that until I got fed up I would rate all the reviews on TV shows with one star. Congrats on getting one!

Hi Mary, beautiful proposal as usual. However, xyz is somewhat right; if Mary, Alessio, or Trell don’t think to review something, and lately Miss Blinky, there’s been a bit of a shortage of new indie in hp. @Trell, we just needed the mandolins; let go of your man, because on Sunday I went to see Brant Bjork znd Bros, I’ll take you to see the right concerts :-)

A little note: the year of the zeppelins is 1969 (even though I don't know whose 1970 it is...)

@Vortex: my experience corroborates what you say. As for why...I can only share our experience. Specifically, the "old ones," those who had built things, and who had older brothers who had been part of '77, maintained a libertarian spirit, a sense of community, and an attempt nonetheless at "mediation." When the "young ones" arrived, the confrontation became radicalized, not only with all the institutions but with everyone in general. You’re either with us or fuck off. The young ones took over; it was necessary to transition from C.S.A to C.S.O. And indeed, there hasn’t been either C.S.A or C.S.O. since...

Yes, a bit rhetorical, of course :-). I obviously preferred the Clash and the Flux of Pink Indians. However, this single is immortal. I'm not opening any debate, because I generally agree with everything in Vortex's post. Plus, the debate about that little fascist has exhausted me :-).
Rollins Band Come in and Burn

Great, but honestly I'm not keeping up with you. Here, everyone is free to form their own opinions. Moreover, each person has expressed theirs freely. If I say that Rollins' behavior was the most unpleasant I've seen from someone on stage in thirty years of concerts, I say it simply because I've seen it and didn't like it, and even after twenty years, I still remember it. Especially because I didn't expect it from someone with his background, although I've already mentioned before that I also distinctly remember some of his interviews from that time—don't ask me if it was in Rockerilla, Blast, or Maximum Rock'n'roll where I'd already noticed symptoms of supermachismo and misogyny. The latter is an opinion, while what I saw with my own eyes is reality. After that, if you, in order to preserve your sacred image, don't want to believe me, there's nothing I can do about it. However, keep in mind that I have absolutely no reason to hold a grudge against Rollins; he has never been a myth of mine nor have I ever particularly followed him. I mean, I really don't care at all, ultimately. I was just sharing a personal experience. I don't see how the fact that he allows free music downloads relates to the fact that he laid hands on a girl who was indeed trying to get on stage, but, as was evident to everyone, to dance and not to do stage diving or hit Rollins, considering that no one was moshing since the bpm must have been between 70 and 80, is beyond my understanding. He doesn't want people on stage? That's perfectly fine. There's no need to hit a girl who weighs fifty kilos less than you. I'm perfectly fine with the distinction between performer and work, and the concert was a very good concert, but when someone behaves like an idiot, I don't understand why I shouldn't point it out. I mean, it's useless for someone to act libertarian, revolutionary, honest, or however the hell you want to define it, and then, when it comes down to it, they can't handle the most basic situation except with violence.

P.S.: Maybe someone should listen to "Turned on," which was recorded like three days after the concert I'm talking about, to understand that there was nothing to mosh or stage dive to, and in fact, no one was doing it.

Here’s Tollani, the point is precisely that here people either don’t want to understand or pretend not to understand. Self-determination. If at almost forty I go to see the Stooges and after a while I'm tired of moshing and don’t want to completely wreck myself, then I decide to step back. My little friends who prefer to hurt themselves come out bleeding. But that’s their decision. (I say forty because that was the last concert I moshed at, but it was the same at twenty). If, on the other hand, Rollins decides for you, meaning he beats you up for no reason, that’s not okay. In my opinion. And now I hope it’s finally over.

Alright, Cap, I thought at least you understood Italian. My opening was "can I afford to talk about it," not "I can talk about it and you can't." Bis: due to age-related reasons, I’ve seen a few concerts of "that" kind live, while you haven't. Not only has the majority of the people who passed through here never been to a Fugazi or Rollins concert, but they talk about them as if they were kindergarten buddies, and I haven't seen them at a Youth of Today or 7 Seconds concert either. So for me to be the student and the others the little professors, because that was the tone (but it's normal for Rollins to hit you, that's punk baby), just doesn’t work.
