I defend her :-). First of all, the girl has a monstrous voice and she uses it well. Not like that disaster Giusy, full of pointless squawking (both are just indigenous responses to Winehouse). The album is quite lovely, in the pop realm of course, and it's better than any crap from the various Britneys, Shakiras, Aguileras, etc. I don't know how you can say that "Sanctuary" should explode; it's a torch song, of course it doesn't explode... And anyway, just the fact that she did a cover of Martha and The Muffins makes me like her (Echo Beach was certainly not built to please the masses!!!). Next time, with the right production team, she could give us a great album too. 3 and a half.

Congratulations on the rediscovery and the beautiful page. I didn’t know he had also met Celine. I know he was very close friends with Vendrame, and that would be enough... This year I discovered an unpublished piece of his called "Adius," yet another song about a lost love, which has become one of my all-time favorite songs. Great!

I agree with Bletch and Telespalla, what's the point of the introduction about metal and Tokio Hotel, who cares? The review is also a duplicate. And yes, given its length (I think it's the only quadruple vinyl I have in my collection), there would be plenty to say. I'm putting it on now, but I don't think I'll get to a 5. 4 and something.

The quote was something like "If the Fall make you believe it's possible to argue with God, Joy Division convince you that it's possible to spit in His face." But I'm old, the memory fades, and the recollections slip away. You've understood that the greatness lies in the fact that each one seems to play for their own sake and in the middle there's the void. But you mention the joy division too much, as if it could matter. And it's a fucking duplicate, and I'm old and this is the two-hundredth, pointless, review I've read about this record. Which is pure breath of death, and therefore indescribable. And if the Joys could spit in His face, no one can talk about it.
