Then, when we get into specifics and talk about the album, the usual inaccuracies. This is not a collection of rarities and singles. There isn’t even one single. I believe "Glass" has appeared in a different mix on Factory Sample. For the rest, most are not rarities (they would be if the EP An Ideal For Living by Warsaw had been released, which only a few lucky ones have, or Earcom 2), but some come from the sessions for the never-released album with RCA, while others are outtakes from both Unknown and Closer. Moreover, on the second disc, there isn’t “one of the last concerts” of Joy Division, but the very last concert ever. Curtis isn’t contemplating suicide, dear interpreter, he is simply exhausted from the last epilepsy attack he had. Oh yes, you always speak with a full understanding of the facts and have the necessary qualifications. The important thing is to believe in it.
