THE REVIEW

As if time had stopped at the sunset of the sixties.

Yellow/red lights seem not to reflect the intimate characteristics of the work, the almost total absence of a rhythm section allows only space for breath, smiles, and positive moods.

Those like myself who were used to decades of insults towards the world will find themselves somewhat disoriented by this provocatively acoustic work, played as if forty years of technology had not passed.

In the mid-eighties, he astonished the public, fans, and specialized press, with an album strongly marked by low and rhythmic sounds; now, he leaps over the chasm and once again amazes us by turning, for the first time in his career, his gaze to the past; until he finds himself bound hand and foot to the beat generation.

If I had to choose just one track, I would choose "Foolish Thing".

Ginsberg and Lennon now have their Italian counterpart.
