Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death

For the AIRON MAIDEN fanatics who want a new album to write a fresh, blazing review, here’s the announcement of an UNMISSABLE best of (the tenth???) SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME. Press release from www.truemetal.it:
Iron Maiden have dominated the heavy metal world for almost thirty years and are still undoubtedly one of the most contemporary and exciting bands of the 21st century. And in their irreverent spirit of shaking up conventions – from flying their plane around the world for record tours to selling over 70 million albums worldwide without support from commercial radio or TV – today, Iron Maiden announce a revolutionary new way to get their music to fans.
Riding the overwhelming success of the current ‘Somewhere Back In Time World Tour ‘08’ and the recent No.1 selling DVD, ‘Live After Death’, EMI is proud to release a very special album on May 12th (May 9th in Italy) to mark the first decade of the band’s extraordinary career. The album captures the essence of the current tour, including the most representative tracks from the first seven studio albums and a live album, recorded between 1980 and 1989. And it is rightly titled ‘SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME’.
The complete tracklist of the album ‘Somewhere Back In Time’ is:
1. Churchill Speech (0.49)
2. Aces High (4.36)
3. 2 Minutes To Midnight (6.00)
4. The Trooper (4.11)
5. Wasted Years (5.06)
6. Children Of The Damned (4.35)
7. The Number of The Beast (4.53)
8. Run To The Hills (3.53)
9. Phantom Of The Opera – Live (7.21)
10. The Evil That Men Do (4.34)
11. Wrathchild – Live (3.07)
12. Can I Play With Madness (3.31)
13. Powerslave (6.47)
14. Hallowed Be Thy Name (7.12)
15. Iron Maiden – Live (4.50)

It's most likely negative propaganda from Pepsi... since in Back to the Future, he drank that.

I had heard urban legends about J. Foz, suggesting that the Parkinson's disease he developed at a young age was not so much due to drugs, but to the industrial amounts of Diet Coke (2-3 liters every single day) he used to gulp down. Mixing it all with alcohol and drugs... I’ve always been quite skeptical, but it’s an intriguing urban legend. Has anyone heard anything similar??? Cheers.

Well, I finished reading at the second line since I generally agree with the rule, and if you then tell me to shut up, you’re not encouraging me to continue. I've seen the first one so many times (I was 7 when it came out) that in the end, I practically knew all the dialogues by heart. The second one, on the other hand, made me quite disappointed... the strength of the first lay in its simplicity... this one feels less genuine. It reminds me a bit of the Indiana Jones saga. First one great, second one so-so, and third one really nice.
Kamelot The Black Halo

@ Elric. I don't know what your tastes are like, but the Kamelot of this album are very different from the power-dependent ones of Fourth Legacy (which if I'm not mistaken is three albums apart). Just take a look at the covers... The Black Halo is complex, the songs are not fast, and the melodies are essential. Great elegance and not immediately digestible. Regards.

Sylvester Stallone John Rambo
Voto:
I haven't seen the movie, but 3 seems outrageous to me. Rambo is a hero, not an old, pumped-up, clumsy guy... I wouldn't even watch it under torture. Stallone is capable of bringing about 5 if there's a good box office response.
