Rainbow The Very Best Of Rainbow
Voto:
Well, a bit of Rainbow's influence can be heard in the early tracks of Manowar... listen to songs like "Kill The King," "Stargazer." Of course, the style of Manowar is more epic and more metal than that of Rainbow.

Well done, nice review and great recovery. The only Rainbow album I have is this collection, and it's more than enough for me... a fantastic best of that encompasses the major hits of Blackmore & Co. The period from their first work to "Down To Earth" is undoubtedly fascinating; however, I don't think the singles "Stone Cold" and "Streets Of Dreams" are trivial. On the contrary, they are very interesting tracks that showcase influences like Foreigner and Journey. A piece rich in pathos and introduced by a beautiful keyboard intro is "Can't Let You Go"... great Rainbow!
Vanadium Metal Rock

Well, yes... it somewhat resembles the debut of Diamond Head, but Vanadium has a more hard rock blues sound; just listen to "I Never Lost Control," "Heavy Metal," "We Want Live With Rock'N'Roll." Diamond Head is clearly oriented towards N.W.O.B.H.M. Anyway, two great bands.

Nice review. I know the album quite well..I've mainly listened to "Follow Me And Follow Me" and that gem "Many Too Many," definitely the most beautiful song on the album. Anyway, I prefer "A Trick Of The Tail" and "Duke."

Nirvana Live Modena 21.02.1994

What a review!! Well done! You did great to remember this very important event, namely one of the concerts the Nirvana had in Italy. Your review easily transports me back to the beautiful period of the nineties, specifically in 1994, when I was three years old. A concert that, as you described, must have been truly fantastic and emotional..GREAT Kurt. One of the phrases that struck me was "But Kurt was a person, not a rockstar." Sublime.
