Hooray for Poletti and his know-it-all attitude. How damn stupid is that man? And above all, I’d like to know if Poletti thinks he’s charming. I remember watching the film twice, the first time I didn't understand a damn thing. Anyway, it's a great film! I agree about Pitt's performance, excellent in this case.

Punisher, I read Ellroy's book before watching L.A. Confidential. The book, I think, is even more of a mess! More characters (I kept a little note with their names, otherwise I would have lost my mind!) and a much more complicated plot! The film, as usual, was a terrible simplification. I would give it a maximum of 3.5 because it erased many of the best elements from the book. Anyway, it remains a good film superior to many other rubbish in the genre! Reading the book helped me a lot to understand! I still have to see Children of Men! Anyway, don’t listen to Poletti. I understand perfectly when you say it can be boring… if you lose track of the story, you understand nothing, and then boredom kicks in!

bah..neil young all my life anyway..in my opinion superior to dylan in everything..by the way, I read your previous post about the alleged superiority of stills over young..but can you even compare an album like the first one by stills (the best of his) with albums like after the gold rush, zuma, on the beach, tonight.., rust never sleep...and at least another ten more..I repeat..bah..
