"Tradimento" is the third album by Fabri Fibra, real name Fabrizio Tarducci, a 30-year-old rapper from the Marche region. The album isn't bad, it's not a masterpiece, but it's enjoyable to listen to, featuring very catchy songs.
The album consists of 17 tracks, some of which are insignificant (in terms of lyrics) and others more meaningful (see "Idee Stupide"). "Tradimento" is produced by Big Fish and Fibra's brother, Nesli. The two producers do a good job, providing the rapper with pleasant and well-crafted beats. This album was made famous by the earworm single "Applausi Per Fibra", which, it must be said, is a poorly made song. The lyrics are insignificant and it doesn't really feel like a rap song, but rather of another genre. Aside from this topic, the songs worthy of some praise are certainly "Rap In Guerra" (with a great beat produced by Nesli), "Idee Stupide", "Tutti Matti". In my opinion, the useless songs are "Rompiti Il Collo" and "Il Triangolo Si".
In conclusion, Fabri Fibra is a good rapper: his flow is good and his rhymes are well constructed. In my opinion, if he became more serious, he could undoubtedly deliver better albums. As already expressed above, the lyrics focus too much on women and the excessive use of swear words throughout the tracks limits its appeal. Perhaps he is trying to imitate some successful American rapper, but unfortunately, he is not at their level...
"Fabri steps out of the typical Gangsta mold (thankfully) and wallows in malice, cynicism, and realism, as he knows how to do, with excellent metrics and some of the best lyrics around."
"A disappointing CD that leaves you speechless... a Fibra fan for three years, seems like the last sad whimper of a rapper who no longer knows what to rap about."
Those who know rap (myself included) will be left speechless by the superficiality of the music demonstrated by Fibra.
A typical mall-produced item, superficial, banal and ugly.
"'Mal Di Stomaco' is the most beautiful song the rapper has ever done."
"This is not Fibra's best work, but it is nevertheless an album worth listening to, with deep and intelligent tracks."
