Was it a lifestyle choice?: IT WAS A CHOICE OF MOOOODDDDDDDDDDD! and THERE WASN'T EVEN THIS IDEOLOGICAL RIVALRY, it was all about appearance. I was there... Anyway, having seen both live, at the Flaminio stadium the Duran... there was Verdone in the stands - and at the Palaeur the Spands, 1987 if I'm not mistaken: the Spandau were better than the Duran, warmer and more motivated, even technically cleaner. The Duran were a disappointment, even though Cuccurullo was already there.
