"I listened to the single (not all of it, just some parts) and I agree with ilpanes, it’s not bad, nothing groundbreaking, but also not that awful. It's definitely a band designed in a boardroom, but I don't understand all this animosity; the crap in music is something entirely different. They’re just a regular band, nothing to get so angry about and nothing to spark such interest. If it’s now cool to throw shade at them just because they’re hyper-promoted by MTV, that doesn’t seem like a good enough reason. I certainly won’t give them another listen, but the single, even if it feels familiar, isn’t that trivial." --->> "At 5:00 PM, the lynching begins. Only 100 participants are allowed. So, hurry up and sign up. My eleven-year-old cousin only listens to these little faggots and Anastacia: that said, that says it all."

in my opinion, it was the most beautiful scene, full of massive proposals… way beyond the grunge Seattle.

Flinstone, don't listen to anyone: talk about everything you like... in short, be punk :))
It seems to me that you are thinking a bit along the stereotype of punk and punkabbestia. First of all, it isn't true that it's just a youth movement. In '77 there were the Crass, who were older, and today Ian MacKaye, at over 40, is still the epitome of punk. Punk is not political disengagement or lack of ideals. If it were like that in Italy, where punk has merged with the movements of the extra-parliamentary left, there wouldn't be an (ancient) punk scene. Punk is not just nihilism. Rather, it's about wanting to live your life freely... for me, the real punk is that of Black Flag and Minor Threat (many call it hardcore, but I don't care)... that is, bands that had their own label to push forward, bands that had graduates in the lineup (Greg Ginn)... in short, punk is everything and it is nothing, and reducing it to just the musical aspect is simply ridiculous. Music is just one expression among many that a punk has at their disposal. Take Descendents. The singer, Milo, graduated and now works as a researcher. In short, it seems stupid to associate the term punk only with the Sex Pistols, who have nothing to do with punk... it’s not like sleeping under the metro makes you a punk) and then punk doesn’t mean not knowing how to play.
