I knew that some reviews about Rino would come out during this period. Damn fucking fiction. Of course, I don't hold it against you. The review is good, the album is excellent. I have it on vinyl (it was my father's), and I grew up with Rino... I care about him, and caring is a private matter, but this excessive post-mortem attention bothers me. But that's how it always is in Italy. First, they die, and then we pay attention.

The first time I was in Berlin at the real remnants of the wall, not the touristy part, I found a phrase... Leave me here, leave me alone, leave me like this. Don’t say a word that isn’t love. Now, I would like to thank the person who wrote that phrase: nothing could be more fitting. I would also like to thank the late Ferretti who wrote the most beautiful line of Italian rock, namely: you know how lucky it is to be free, beings capable of freedom that seem endless... a person who manages with four words to justify any economic planning and then erects Giuliano Ferrara as his guide no longer exists for me.

maybe too sensationalistic as a review, but the album is one of those heavy ones, one of those that don't come around often. looking back and thinking about what they used to be, I can't help but feel a...SHAME.
