Bone Machine Disappearing Inc.
Voto:
It could be a nice and unexpected discovery. The nice discovery might be the album, but so far (since I haven't listened to the album) the nice discovery is you. Keep it up! (even if many, not me, will tell you to shorten the reviews)
Bryan Adams Into The Fire

I'm sorry you feel that way. This is definitely a beautiful record. "native son" the first time I heard it was in a half-sleep, with that sweet solo of hers... "into the fire" is practically a Canadian twilight landscape in a play of icy guitars: boiling ice. Another review I was supposed to do that says goodbye with a little wave. It's your merit, awd.
Mick Jagger Wandering Spirit
Voto:
I don't know what you mean by musicians of another caliber: I'm not a worshiper of living myths of any kind either, but you can't deny that the Stones are a great band. Maybe not the one that deserved to be the most famous, but certainly a great band. Excellent on the record – I also really enjoy Wandering Spirit – and about the considerations on Kravitz when he wasn't a fucking 25 cm with a voice.
Satellite Party UltraPayloaded

It's nice to see Nuno back on track. I listened to their single: cute, very much in Farrell style (which is not a knock against him). I believe you when you say it won't change the rock world, but I'm fond of these two faces (Nuno and Perry). So I gladly enjoy it.
Shellac Excellent Italian Greyhound

YOU FUCKED ME OVER. I WAS WRITING IT... I HAD GOTTEN TO THE HALF.
Bob Mould Black Sheets Of Rain

It just seems to me that he feels a bit overlooked... unlike his early band. A bit strange, don’t you think?
Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach Painted From Memory
Voto:
I can sing this album from the first to the last note. Always, every time I put it on. Sure, it’s not the one I play most often, okay! Out of tune Costello? He was never a "vocalist," and when Bacharach hits a stride that Elvis doesn't know, he becomes a vocalist or little else, that's true. Sometimes Elvis seems like a dwarf in the presence of a giant. Then Costello's voice feels a bit too 80s, low. No doubt between this and a Burt hits compilation, the latter is better, but we can't say this is an album to take to thrift shops.
