Ah, here it is. I wanted to add that the only truly excellent cover of "femme fatale" is none other than by Duran Duran.

your review is written quite well, and it deserves a five. but today I’m being a real jerk, so I’m giving you four. and I do this for a simple reason, a conviction that I will carry with me even if you all come at me with all your might: musically, Mia Martini was nobody. and if she is anything today, it’s only because she’s no longer here. the French, and what they say about Martini, just leave them be: it’s a story that's too long, but they are not reliable.

The problem is not Caselli, who launched her and is now inevitably limiting her... the problem is precisely Elisa, who doesn't realize this: if she had noticed, she wouldn't have wasted time and would have gone to live in the USA, to make music in the USA and to record albums in the USA (and even sell them in the USA). Instead, she writes in English to sell in Italy... this way, she is becoming the Alexia of rock (actually, no: at least Alexia sold a few million records outside of Italy).

sol invictus or the new album by john wetton? what am I going to listen to today? :)

I don't know anything about her early days. I like almost all the tracks by Mannoa on this album. Not that she’s among my favorites, though. The skies of Ireland are not a musical influence; it’s just a way to make money from a heavily exploited trend. I get that Mannoa has red hair, but that’s not enough.

Every time I publish a review, I want to include many samples... but I can only include one, and I let it be, postponing to when the review will be published. Wouldn't it be a good idea to allow reviewers to attach more samples from the start?

How wonderful that there are still people in the world who haven’t read The Da Vinci Code!

Could they be something new? Never thought that rock was dead: it’s just that too often there are people who refer to rock to make good money. But if they've sold out even to Jesus Christ...
Voto:
Well, then I'll add them to the list.

my aim is true is the best start. by the way, there’s a great review here, I remember. then, if you’re up for it and if modern sounds can help you, you can start with when i was cruel, a beautiful pulp-rock record. bad music, '60s rock-lounge music, amazingly cool music, in the style of urge overkill, you know, the ones from pulp fiction.
