I don't love November even though I was born in November, but you are always up to the task.

but...music for Rete4, a bit like the telenovelas with Fernando Carrillo... everything Venezuelan-Colombian for export is good for Rete4 (and for the ring roads: well, on a ring road and on Rete4 there isn't much of a difference). Long live Chavez and down with Colombian cocaine (the only thing whose consumption I foresee could make me believe that Shakira could have only created masterpieces).

It's funeral. And with the accent on funeral. Rather than death, it's funeral (sad music).
Shakira Donde Estàn Los Ladrones?

I could bet my life that what Yideirita claims is out of this world, but I have no proof because I haven't listened to the record and I never, ever will. As for Shakira, all I can say is that I would love to sodomize her without any lube.

Faith, I hadn't even seen the definition you gave for the album... it was Marpardo who was complaining about death doom metal, and then I explained that doom is nonetheless a taste that many artists have, not just the extreme ones... of course, Evoken and similar bands take it to the extreme, but their music is more than just death (angry music) and funeral (sad music)... but you have listened to the album in question, not me... peace & doom.

I don't like the review: who jumps into the well? Certainly not me... Anyway, the Evoken (even though I hate growl) are good: many (Tepes first) had recommended Quetus to me, and I truly found it to be a well-crafted album. Whether you like the genre or not is another story, but doom is not just super heavy and extreme metal; on the contrary, it is the offspring of rock and/or Sabbath-inspired intuitions, all stuff that's easily digestible. And anyway, this is not death doom metal, but FUNERAL DOOM, right experts?

It was the time of the album "So Be It" and "Seconds Of Pleasure," when Jimme O'Neill, who was no longer at the age to act all cool, had placed a little French buddy of his, a fan, as co-vocalist, someone I never mentioned in my reviews of them. I kind of like I Can Feel It, even though it sounds a bit like another song we used to sing in the club. Thanks for the 5.

yet I actually enjoy mother torture... :) for me, all the instrumental music for rock guitarists is pointless because it doesn't evoke any form of inspiration... stuff for technicians... except maybe Steve Howe's albums... I said maybe, though!
Bob Mould District Line

Alex, usually we've been on the same wavelength about albums (remember Richard Butler?). I don't know if you've listened to it, but if you're giving 5 stars to this one, then you have to give ten to Body Of Song... I don't want to come off as a know-it-all, but is it possible you haven't listened to it? That's the only way I could explain your enthusiasm for District Line. Maximum respect, though, eh!
