an album I've absolutely overplayed. Back in the day, I believe I was quite the fan of certain Britpop acts, not Oasis and not Blur. Suede, them, but also Radiohead before the caterpillar turned into a butterfly, the very early Verve (psychedelia), the Manic Street Preachers even though nobody cared about them (and even if they're not exactly pure Britpop), but especially Mansun and Spacehog. Does anyone remember them? Oh, and The Beautiful South!!! An album that is still not one of the best of the nineties, and what’s KITK anyway? Rather kitsch, if anything.

appealing proposal (the lineup says a lot even to a layperson of the genre like me)

The one with Hooker is better, while this is more easily accessible. It's nice to see Chambers in my area again. A pleasure that I now return.

I quote telespallabob, but the review is well written. I agree about the eighties and the sax; in fact, Vasco Rossi's songs have always been shit and if they are even worse today, it's because there's no more sax. It's absolutely true that all the new romantic didn't come out of nowhere or lacked a background: it was the transformation of certain new wavers: just think of Duran Duran's first album, Adam Ant and his (reviewed by me) new romantic album "Strip," certain gaypop like Culture Club, etc.: they all came from either punk or post-punk or new wave, in that space-time bubble that spans from '76 to '79.

No, because I like doing it. I enjoy writing, and I like to paint a picture of the situation, even of what I listen to. If I read a book, I make summaries: it’s like putting something in chalk. If I do something I enjoy, I write it down: I might want to remember it, and it's often been practically useful. If I have a good idea, I rush to write it in the "thoughts register," because it's right that it gets fixed in a suitable place. And it works because, first of all, the more you write what you think, the more your analytical and self-analytical skills improve. The more you know and get to know yourself, the easier and more beautiful it becomes to know and be known. And the more you write, the easier it becomes to write.

Any tips? Just dig through my reviews on them! Thanks for the great ratings.

Dear Editors, I don't know what happened to a part of the text... it claimed that the instrumental boogie-woogie "Hill's Stomp" was credited to him (well, the title itself is quite telling). The other "non-cover," the concluding "Utah," is entirely credited to Canned Heat... Yes, but who were Canned Heat?

in my opinion, a masterpiece of passive-aggressive rock
