I couldn't hear the scream (I can't find it) but I listened to "revolver" (a great "punk?" band he was part of) the early albums (UOAEI, PRIMO SECONDO FRUTTA & [IVAn COMPRESO], SUPERIVAN) and then "BAndiera gialla." Yes, I understand. I'll tell you that when I first started getting into music by listening to great foreign classics, especially foreign rock, not knowing about the existence of an underground Italian alternative rock scene, I was convinced that in Italy music was all Baglioni, Ramazzotti, Morandi. Then I discovered CCCP, Diaframma, Marlene, etc... and I realized the Italian talent and also the beauty of immediately understanding the lyrics, so much so that I even rediscovered singer-songwriters. Of course, it’s true that Italian music can't compete with foreign music in terms of history, quantity, and therefore also better quality of bands. If I can give you a piece of advice: perhaps by listening to more Italian records, you will be able to write lyrics and melodies in Italian.

For me, Italian is just fine and there's no need for the "for me" and "for you" from Verdena; in fact, I don't understand why Italians feel the need to sing in English, conforming to foreign groups. Italian gives character to the songs, and that's a good thing. English or other languages are fine for me as long as they are used in a particular, distinctive way or in pieces where the music prevails over the singing.
