Clako, if I recommend a couple of songs for you to listen to in order to understand what an Italian piece worthy of note means to me, will you do it?

Clako, why the hell should I have the "guts" (you know what a challenge that is...) to go listen to this guy's album? The premises are horrible: what I've heard of him on the radio and online disgusts me, and 9 out of 10 people speak poorly of him, so I see absolutely no reason to listen. When you go to the bathroom, you can smell that the shit stinks, and besides, everyone talks badly about it, so you don’t eat it. Because you don’t eat it, right Clako...?

As a DJ, I prefer the chaos... You know, if you find everything right away, you lose the joy of the search. It's nice to mess around sometimes (when you have the time...) looking for unknown stuff without any particular reason, while if everything is just a "click" away, you lose all the charm of discovery. As for user interaction, the discussion is a bit more complicated: at first glance, it might seem depersonalized, as Solomon said, but you should filter what you read a bit. Let me explain: I know, thanks to frequent visits, who might appreciate a civil exchange of opinions/emotions/information/bulls hit with me (like good old Alessio here) or who just comes to write nonsense to gain their second of daily attention on the web (good for them...). I see it as a place where there are people you know and regularly talk to, others you prefer to avoid, and still others you don't know at all, just like in real life, and that's why I like it: because it's REAL!

Salomon, five years ago I wasn't on Deb, but know that my spirit is more or less that: I’m not interested in criticizing artists or users; I’m interested in sharing emotions with other people (even if to me they are "strangers"). Anyway, know that right now I believe there are really few people here for the reasons you mentioned, and I think that makes others with similar intentions drift away rather than come closer... Well, c'est la vie! Bye, and drop by every now and then to chat (at least with me :-)).

Already marked on the shopping list, I really want to hear that Spanish stoner. The review is... a trip review! Hi Panic!

Well, in my opinion, you've answered yourself in the first post: if it were as you say, Debaser would be like any other music site (and I wouldn't have any interest in coming here) and not different (as we like it, in short). As for the detached section, it exists but the criteria by which a review ends up here or there are obscure to me, anyway Pagina non trovata Returning to the discussion of poetic reviews (even though I should keep quiet since I've written one too), I believe they can fit perfectly among the others, and those who don't understand how the site works should go to onda rock ;-D. Hi and total respect to you too.

DJ, I read your comment and I feel like responding (but I don’t want to start any pointless arguments either): I'm not against duplicates, or at least not against all of them. It’s obvious that if there are already 10 reviews two weeks before the release of an album (like In Rainbows), it can be infuriating, but if someone, years later, brings up a great album with a nice review, I see it as an opportunity to discuss it with hindsight (many albums sound different over time). Plus, I really enjoy poetic reviews like this one; in fact, I almost prefer them since we already know pretty much everything about the album in question.

Considering that Slash has released 4 albums since the breakup of Guns and Axl none, I would say Slash has been smarter (at least from an economic standpoint). Axl can also burn in the flames of hell; as a singer, he’s in shape like "a 90-year-old man trying to get laid."
