It’s the most underrated CD of the last few years... it was supposed to come out a good ten years ago but still nothing, it will probably be released this winter and finally we will be able to listen to the new songs from the best glam metal band of the last 25-30 years.

They had glory, fame, but they were too young (and Axl a bit crazy) and they let themselves be dragged into the world of alcohol and drugs. Their dream ended with "The Spaghetti Incident," in my opinion, they could have spared us that.

A few years later, after some new members and a few odd haircuts (Axl's dreadlocks), they return to our homes with their work "Chinese Democracy." Perhaps it was delayed due to repeated lineup changes, Buckethead also left during the process.... but now the time has come, therefore I proceed to review it for you.

It was presented as the return of the Guns on the world stage, and such a long gestation period is expected to lead to one of the best Guns CDs; this is true but only partially. Axl & co. worked hard for this CD, but it's not the best they could do. The songs feel familiar and aren’t very original, out of about ten songs, only 3 or 4 stand out, "Better", the title track, "There Was a Time" and "Madagascar."
The rest are not very exciting even though they all have wonderful lyrics... Axl’s creativity is well-known.

There has also been a stylistic change, perhaps a bit more pop and less Hard but it is still musically catchy and with this, the Guns will be able to gain some satisfaction. It certainly isn’t their comeback, but they are about to return more unleashed than ever, let's say that this CD lays the foundations for their rebirth.

I recommend buying it (or downloading it because I think it's worth it)......

THE GUNS ARE BACK!

P.S. this is my first review and I know I chose one of the hardest albums to review so don’t be too harsh......

"The entire CD is the result of Axl’s grace in terms of composition and silences the many skeptics about the condition of his vocal cords."

"The advice I can give to all those who will listen to the album is to have no prejudices, don’t think of the old 'Guns' but instead focus on this crazy, ambitious, discussed project by Axl Rose."

This album stands to Guns N' Roses as the pope stands to Bin Laden.

More simply: this album is fucking awful.

As soon as I put the CD in the player, a mishmash of sounds starts that takes my mind directly to China... and after a brief guitar distortion, comes Axl’s scream of anger.

Sorry: pure spectacle! I fell in love with this song... One of the best songs he has composed in my opinion, competing for the best track on the CD.
