I don't know... I had written a review on Sanremo that for some reason hasn't been published. The lyrics of "forever per sempre" are by Mogol, and it's quite trivial.......... I understand that few will visit my weblog since the review is about Sanremo.

The beginning leaves much to be desired. Well... it doesn’t seem fair to make these classifications. The significant Italian cinema goes from 1958 to 1975 is a debatable statement.
Oh, while I'm at it, Ferreri and "La grande Abbuffata" aren’t up for discussion? On the contrary, they should be discussed, especially in schools.
"Io non ho visto 'C'eravamo tanto amati', so I don't vote."

Anecdote: once I brought a friend home to watch this movie. He was convinced he was going to see a film like "Le Dîner de Cons" or "Tutti gli uomini del deficiente." He watched almost all of it. He told me that for a week he struggled to eat: I believe him, even I considered food differently for a few days. This movie reminds me of New Year's Eve dinners, immense, with the obligation to have fun and the refrigerator always ready to pretend to calm our anxieties..... I agree with the first comment from godbowl.

I expected this question. The film, in my opinion, is too long, but I don't know if that's a strength or a flaw, given the theme. I regretted giving it 4 stars right after I sent it. Okay, 5.
