The fate of the greats links Bergman and Antonioni. Then some big-shot in charge suddenly remembers that yes, in prime time it's possible to air 'Fanny and Alexander' or 'Zabriskie Point' instead of 'Cobra 11,' 'Stasera mi butto,' and 'Nebbie e delitti'... The usual Italian hypocrisy and idiocy.
Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds From Her To Eternity

Come on, okay we really care about azzo, but 'It seems written by Cave in person...' is a bit of an exaggeration, don't you think? :D
To me, 'Well of misery', 'azz, reminds me of a song sung by black slaves in the cotton plantations in the South of the States - a sort of archaic and mournful blues.
You didn't mention the majestic cover by Elvis (Cave's idol, to whom he dedicated 'The firstborn is dead' - that is, the 'stillborn twin' of the Pelvis) 'In the ghetto', which was included only in the CD reissue along with the splendid and nocturnal 'The moon is in the gutter'. And what about Cohen's 'Avalanche' (another protective deity of Nicola Caverna), grim and psychotic, that opens the album? Extraordinary, then, is 'Saint Huck' (perhaps the peak of 'FHTE') - a dark and gloomy ride inspired by Twain's Huckleberry Finn, marked by Harvey's nervous drums and Anita Lane's piercing bass. A funereal and Central European solo debut, still a child of the deceased Birthday Party, and still (as you say, azzo) with the sick and cursed Nick. I prefer 'Tender prey', though. ;)
Portishead Dummy

Perhaps the true masterpiece of 'trip-hop', even though it's actually well beyond the Bristol scene.
Syd Barrett Barrett
Voto:
Barrett's will (who often couldn't even play the guitar while sitting on a chair during the sessions... By now he wandered in his own world, lost with Emily and Arnold Layne on an endless interstellar journey).
Michael Jackson Dangerous

Between tommythebest, ronnie92, and lucumine 74, who is the best? It's up to the posters to decide.
Led Zeppelin Coda

Codone, you have to come back! :D
The Doors Strange Days

In fact, Milan has an average age of 52 years and Juve's defense is a bit, well, 'wobbly'... In the end, it will still be Inter-Roma.
Black Sabbath Volume 4
Voto:
No, damn it: listened to as it should be, almost at the same level as the others. Great album, rating 4.5.
Joy Division Closer

Wire grandissimi (especially those from '154', I recommend Emmanuel Fantoni's review regarding the oblique and sinusoidal).
