Bob Marley & the Wailers Uprising
Voto:
Good evening, everyone. Regarding Nosebleed and Telespalla: I agree, the album, technically speaking, doesn’t reach particularly high peaks (but I believe you could say the same for all of Marley’s albums... or not?), instrumentally speaking - although the rhythm section should still be taken into account. I see it as an album that partially distances itself from the others, more "modern" and less tied to certain reggae stylistic features. To Franci: I wanted to say that in the review... you read my mind. I’m also firmly convinced that today - as often happens with many others - almost nobody wearing their t-shirt or smoking while listening to reggae knows a damn thing about Marley. The same goes for many punks, for example. And that’s a shame.

Stunning.

Well done primi, this is nice. As for him (I mean De André's son), the comparison is inevitable, both regarding the obvious physical resemblance (and this, obviously, would be the least) and for the vocal similarity (and here the comparison is a bit more "serious"). Plus, a fantastic musician - the father De André's tour in '99 proves it - who perhaps doesn’t have the same compositional talent.

The first review. No nonsense, just the story.

Ah, old romantic... you touch me deeply like this. So, despite everything, I can't bring myself to break you.

You forgot to mention the stunning "High flying bird." As for the rest, "midnight creeper" doesn't seem conversational to me; in fact, I prefer it to that horrible sitar in "blues for my baby." Overall, it's not a completely successful album, less fresh than the others.

Strangely, I listened to it, and it’s very different from the others in the aforementioned group (which, by the way, would even make a light pole shit itself). As hardrock said, though, it’s unclear whether this is more Brian Eno or Giocofreddo. That said, nice review.
Franco Battiato Inneres Auge

Nice review, I watched a TV segment about the album last night and they showed some clips from the video of "inneres auge." Great piece, but same old electronic Battiato for a few years now. He could explore other paths.
