Lemonverde, are you an alter-ego of Claypool? I didn't know that. Mine was a rant against the die-hard fans of bands who (too) often judge their works without being objective. This way, all works end up being flattened, considered equally good. It’s logical that everyone has their own tastes and music is beautiful for that, of course. This certainly doesn’t affect the value of the reviewer/the review. Saludos

Really beautiful, very well crafted. The work seems to me like a hefty volume for completionist fans.

You forgot to write that it moves you.

I've never understood this trend of giving 5 to every record. There are 5 ratings available, so why not use them all? If we give this one a 5, what do we give the other two you mentioned, an 18? As far as I'm concerned, this doesn't go above a 3, which amounts to a good album. Great blend of instruments and vocals.

ri-welcome, without even reading it. I completely agree with barleboom, both in this and in that other review. PS this album is better than the first one, anyway.

Great film, truly. Suspense from start to finish.

I read up to comment 55, were there really too many? Do you want to know what I think? Of course you do, you’re the kind of person who is definitely rolling on the floor behind the video to see how far users will go to insult you. The very fact that you left halfway through the comments, after having almost always replied immediately when someone attacked you, shows it: you realized that to hold your ground here you have to always respond in kind as soon as possible when someone attacks you in the posts; otherwise, the comments pile up and you can't manage them... well done. And then you leave, acting superior. Superior because? Because surely you know how to write, you believe yourself to be smarter than others (us poor souls commenting on your review, with reverence because you listen to classical music… but please) and you have to always show it. At first, I thought you were a fake - and no one else even considered it, except for teenagelob. Everyone bowing to you, giving you high ratings, just because you act like an intellectual. People like you are everywhere, and here on Debaser, there are plenty of people who have been around for years, not a poor newbie like you. You took a look at the site, you saw how things work here (you have to give a "contrary" opinion to be heard and create a pandemonium), combined with the fact that you know how to write, the game is set. You're just a poor exhibitionist who has to show off how good and smart you are; whoever said you could have talked about any other album and the considerations would have been the same was right. Because you probably haven't listened to the album, you spout a series of nonsense without head or tail, just to inflate your aura of a great wise expert (the comments about cinema). How do you want to impress us? Get a life, Debaser is not the place for you.

This is the classic duplicate that adds nothing to what already exists, so it could have been spared. The album - I was listening to it yesterday - is perhaps the highest point, as the reviewer rightly points out, for the flashes of genius that occasionally emerge.
