Edoardo Bennato Sembra Ieri

Captain Hook's rock, Thank goodness Nero is not around now and Cantautore wouldn't even be written with these titles: they are other songs. As for the greatest hits, it leaves much to be desired: there's a big lack of, to be clear, La fata (did he put it in the attic and lock it up these last few years?), In fila per tre, and Sbandato...

But what beginning of its end... this is a wonderful album. Viva la mamma is commercial, Tu vuoi l'America is from another planet: it’s one of the most beautiful songs by Edo. Also, La televisione che felicità is stunning.
Edoardo Bennato La Torre Di Babele
Voto:
3: average score between the 5 of La torre di Babele, Venderò, Eaa, Franz è il mio nome and Cantautore and the 1 of all the others.
Edoardo Bennato La fantastica storia del pifferaio magico

Some songs turned out quite nice. On the rest, no comment.

Like "The Good and the Bad," it is an unrepeatable album in Edoardo's career. However, it contains very well-known songs such as Una settimana... un giorno... and Un giorno credi, as well as other less famous but very dear to Edo and his fans, so much so that they are often included in compilations and concert setlists.
Edoardo Bennato I Buoni e i Cattivi

Great album, no doubt about it. It may not be suitable for everyone, but for Edo's fans, it’s a unique and one-of-a-kind work.
Edoardo Bennato Io che non sono l'imperatore
Voto:
Grandiose Thank goodness Nero is not around now and Look, look. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. In my opinion, one of Edo's worst albums.
Iron Maiden Iron Maiden

Metallica have been commercial since the mid-90s, not before. And anyway, what does that mean? You can create beautiful songs even if they are commercial. Otherwise, Creedence and Nirvana would be just any other bands. I'm not upset with you because you don’t like Metallica (everyone has their own tastes); what makes me angry are certain labels you give to fundamental groups in the history of rock and the fact that you consider Iron Maiden the inventors of everything. That's not true. Also, I'm not saying this about Metallica, who invented speed-thrash. Saying that Iron Maiden invented heavy metal is heresy: heavy metal was born in 1970 with the album "Paranoid" by Black Sabbath, whose sound, by the way, is much closer to that of Metallica than to that of Iron Maiden, who borrowed more from "In Rock" by Deep Purple, also from 1970.

Instead, when I didn't know metal, they made me listen to Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman... and I barely knew who Iron Maiden were. What do we say about that now? Huh?
Even when I was in middle school, when we studied pop music, heavy metal was represented by listening to Master of Puppets!
