Hello guys!! First of all, lots of watermelons...oops, happy birthday to Mariaelena! As for the gift, I think we’re doing our best with the little material that the Tilt-levis left us. I do agree with marcmat that it’s definitely a lively debate, and I also agree with psychopompe that Babylon Zoo were definitely worse and that everyone gets infatuated with meteors when they are young. It’s still useful to revisit them now that we’re "old" and "mature", which I have already done with Skinlevis, who, unlike many other "wrong loves", I still don’t mind. Psycho, you beat me to it on Candlebox, I was just about to mention them, but.....just kidding, I’ve never heard them, sorry for my ignorance, but I’ll look them up now too and let you know.

I finally add, as it is only right, that regarding a comment of mine quoting verbatim "thinking heads...a bit against...as I am, after all," the "as I am" was clearly referring to the "against" and not to the "thinking," a characteristic that does not exactly pertain to my head. To return to the Scots in skirts or Levi's, do as you please; I am waiting to remedy...before buying their new work, to listen to it, without anxiety, but with curiosity.

never despair. The "thinking" heads I mentioned earlier are also a bit "heavy" when it comes to turning all the mechanisms of understanding, hard analysis of reception and not. Therefore, here is the reason for the delay. Clearly, the little speech just written refers only to myself, a decrepit being that I am ;)

I corrected my rating of the album from a 5 to a 4; I'm making amends. I was too generous; I loved that album for a period, but I can't honestly say I grew up with it or that I still love it, which is precisely what I haven't said. It's not one of those albums I'd take to Mars, but I reiterate that, free from media conditioning—and considering I discovered it before the ad—I think it was a good album. Now, I certainly don't want to start a religious war over this little Scottish meteor; it doesn't deserve that.

Guys, I’m with you that the album and the band weren’t groundbreaking in the history of rock; on the contrary, I simply talked about a nice album, in my opinion, and not about the new Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. It had its value back then for those who enjoyed it, and indeed we’re just talking about tastes, especially for those who discovered them before the ad you mentioned. But I understand that the media can sometimes have a negative influence, contrary to their purpose, especially on thinking minds, and that’s why I’m a bit ā€œagainst,ā€ just like I am, after all.

Not technically precise, but effective. Nevertheless, it's great for introducing a fantastic band and a wonderful album to those who weren't familiar with them or for anyone who still doesn't know them. I highly recommend it to fans of the genre.

...enough with the ramblings about grunge, open your minds! Always intent, even unconsciously in my opinion, on cataloging, classifying, comparing any semi-unknown band to the gods. Comment on what it transmits to you simply and directly, disgust, pleasure, nothing, and not always necessarily connecting it to the global history of music. Be free.

a heartfelt and poetic review, rightly adding it comes from a beautiful album. Everyone has their own idols, the timeless greats and the small bands discovered by chance, which have accompanied and moved us in different ways, as we are all different from one another, fortunately. This was simply a beautiful album.

truly an excellent review for an album I loved very much, just like SIX great concept-discs.
Wide Open Space, one of those songs that you absolutely wear out like the cylindrical jewel when things were looking grim, but never gets old, perfect!
