THE REVIEW

As I mentioned in the Redjetson review, there are truly good bands that take their time to give birth to new creations, and in the case of Stiltskin, a Scottish quartet, they produced a single resounding work "THE MIND'S EYE" (1994) before disbanding as a second album was in progress.

Ray Wilson (vocals) would replace Phil Collins in Genesis in 1997, and then, after 12 years, reunite with two original members of the initial formation, adding Nir to the drums, who was already the drummer for Genesis after Collins' departure, naming the new album "She." "The Mind's Eye" is as strong as steel (100% stanley), and it's also a gentle brushstroke of color with full shades of a distinct impression, completely conquering the United Kingdom and Europe, especially due to the now-famous "Inside," used in the popular Levi's ad, and receiving (with great effort) significant acclaim in the United States.
This album has an incredible energy, and even in this case, emotions abound; the tracks are on one hand as intense as an avalanche's force rushing down to the valley, and on the other hand, they caress the warmth of a sunset over the sea on an evening in August. Opinions and judgments are, as always, personal; it's up to each of us to judge and interpret them. Music is freedom of expression and thought, and I must also, unfortunately, say that we often find talented groups or soloists that let themselves go into less gratifying new experiences, attempting to tread alternative paths without exhilarating results, or fortunately, in some cases, they return to the previously abandoned path, rediscovering the desire to be reborn.

Now I proceed to express my personal sensation felt for each listened track "Intro" and "Scared of Ghosts" – the desire to push oneself to try everything that is extreme for a human being "Horse" - retracing life's memories, venting repressed anger and rejoicing in the desire to discover the mysterious infinite "Rest in peace" a sweet and joyful walk in a cool forest "Footsteps" – pure adrenaline "Sunshine and butterflies" – melancholic personal thoughts "Inside" – journey within the soul "An illusion" – feeling life as a supreme good "America" – a metallic whining chant "When my ship comes in" – desire to be atop a rock with eyes closed, raising arms as a strong wind envelops your body "Prayer before birth" – stumbling completely in total darkness… …

… and all of this, if one feels it, or however one feels it, is simply fantastic, because it is life, music, for me, is the individual expression of life.
