Honestly, I don't like the album. The review might be nice (maybe a bit too brief), but it doesn't add, or almost anything new.

My favorite album by Megadeth, I find it beautiful and still very relevant; with the review, you could have definitely done better, but I give you a vote of confidence for the passion shown.

Everyone talks about Music as they wish (more or less seriously); if someone is not interested in a certain type of debate, they can choose not to participate. That said, I was simply expressing my opinions about a figure I actually admired during a certain period of my life, and this review gave me the opportunity to share my thoughts. If you're not interested, you're absolutely right to let me know, but the right to review and then to comment remains inviolable for any group and type of music, more or less debosciante in nature.

Personally, sorry, regarding Emanuele, you are right, they are definitely not Doom, at least if we consider Doom bands like Bathory, but then I wonder if they aren't, is Draconian Times by Paradise Lost Doom for example? Irreligious by Moonspell? Definitions and labels always sound too restrictive to me.

I understand your arguments, I agree about Paradise Lost; in fact, I don't consider them the founders of Gothic. What I think is simply that in a certain sense they've had a "posthumous recognition," so in my opinion, it can't be discussed as overrated, but rather as a kind of awareness that they had intuitions quite ahead of their time (and like the aforementioned Paradise Lost) they didn't completely enjoy the fruits of their labor as other groups that came after them did. I wouldn’t want to mention them, but we live in times when Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, Within Temptation are considered Gothic (and in my opinion, whether you like them or not, they're not), and for this reason, I think that Theatre deserves a little recognition, beyond personal tastes.

I don't know if he's a human case, but he definitely preaches well and practices very poorly. It seems to me that the real fake alternative is really him...

Honestly, he is not a good musician, nor a good songwriter, let alone a good singer (and I think we can all agree on that). Of course, the early Timoria were very good, but my impression is that Renga was the true creative mind (although he has somewhat sold out too...). Therefore, the harshness (criticism, that is, not vulgar or offensive towards any potential fans, if he still has any) is more than justified, especially since his career seems more like a soap opera now than the story of a musician. (With all due respect to the authors of soaps who are undoubtedly more creative than good old Pedrini).

I don’t think you are a “voice out of the choir.” Many consider them overrated, and honestly, I don’t understand why, since they have always been pretty mistreated by both critics and the public. I would like you to clarify better your idea of the term “overrated.” Hi!
