Beautiful album, review with a few inaccuracies but overall well written.

Well, if by "Best of" you mean only the albums titled that way, you’re right; otherwise (as you recall by mentioning the two "Singles"), this is certainly not their first collection (by the way, the red rose is present in the double version).
I wouldn’t be too thrilled about the Euro MTV Award...
As for Depeche, what can I say? They definitely made history, but especially thanks to studio production because I wouldn’t speak of great live performances since their shows are mostly based on drum machines and overdubs with almost always Gahan’s voice as the only truly live element. That doesn’t mean I don’t like them—in fact, I do—but we must accept the fact that their shows are quite artificial.
Anyway, your review is, all in all, shareable.
I won’t rate the album because I don’t judge compilations as a principle.
Bye!

Nice album but not essential in their career (by the way, I think the title is not intended to be a "rip-off" but in a way a tribute to the great live album by the Purple since the producer is the same). The review is nice too but too brief.
I would also like to invite non-fans of Maiden (and those who generally can’t stand them) not to read reviews about them, so they avoid boring both themselves and us fans. Thank you and no hard feelings. Bye!

Picking up from Lethe's last post, it’s for the same reason that I consider the reviewed album to have huge doom influences, even if not exactly "canonical."

I maidens are for discerning palates.
The review adds nothing new.

No, I prefer Draconian Times as well, which was also their swan song because, in my opinion, the subsequent works did not live up to that level.

I never said that the songs were written by Renga (read my post for confirmation), but that since he split from the band, the production of Timoria was quite affected. Therefore, my thought is that he probably had a very important role in the group's dynamics beyond just the composition and creativity. I invite you, before passing harsh judgments, to carefully read others' posts. Thank you and goodbye!
