It's not my favorite (which is definitely the IV), but it's still a great album; I have nothing to say about the review.

Of course, almost all of them are great albums, (for Tortoise I prefer TNT and for Cave, Murder Ballads), I was asking you precisely to understand if your doubts about Porcupine were more ideological in nature than anything else, and that's definitely not the case. That said, I think the PT definitely had a less innovative approach compared to many you mentioned (I have my own doubts about Fugazi and My Bloody... but that's just my taste), but certainly up to "Lightbulb Sun" they produced technically very valid works that are undoubtedly exciting in their own way (and how hard it is to combine technique and warmth!) Cheers!

A rather hasty review that doesn’t add anything new; Manson has at least four very beautiful albums to his credit and I think his image has harmed him much more than it has helped (certain superficial comments I've read above wouldn't make sense otherwise). Anyway, in general, I don’t rate Best of albums, but here I will make an exception to raise the average, which is quite unfair.

Thank you all for leaving your comments! In response to Targetsky, while I appreciate it, I don't think Gibbons' solo work aligns with Portishead's material; rather, there is a clear shift towards decidedly less pop sounds (considering that calling the Bristol group's discography authorial pop is not a mistake in my opinion). As for the comments from Borerdom and Mike, I think that the more or less assimilability of a product greatly depends on individual personal experiences, but I’m quite sure that we can’t talk about easy listening in this case (unless one is used to listening to Bartok, for example...). Bye!

I don't understand why you keep criticizing them because (ONLY ACCORDING TO YOU!) they always do the same things and then you complain if they don't perform certain classics... something doesn't add up...

Come on, Bonny, don't mock other people's sensitivity... let's try to be a little more mature...

I don’t agree with everything you say (but perhaps I’m a bit biased because this album holds significant sentimental value for me) but the real issue is that the review is too brief; you dismiss this album a bit too hastily.

I wanted to ask the editors why the second-to-last comment appears 4 times on my card?
