Instead of commenting negatively as usual, non-fans of Iron should not even read the review because 1) they did not attend the concert and are therefore not able to evaluate it, 2) but if you don't like it, why bother the enthusiasts of this music?

Stunning performances, splendid choreographies, and a risky but winning set list: this was the evening at the Datch Forum on December 3, 2006.

Lauren Harris and Trivium perform first and then… red lights turn on and an epic melody announces the arrival of the Iron.

They perform the entire new album "A Matter Of Life And Death" from start to finish; a rather daring choice but in the end proved successful since the whole audience, singing all the songs at the top of their lungs, showed they had already memorized it. I would recall the break where Bruce, addressing us, says “It's Sunday, have you been to mass?”, and also during the performance of "The Pilgrim", when an idiotic fan threw a water bottle on stage breaking Bruce's microphone.

The performance was amazing and right after the album ended came a grand "Fear Of The Dark", sung solely by the audience while Bruce mimed an 'attack of ''fear of the dark'' (I will never forget the huge mosh pits during this song).

After this Iron Maiden part, an enormous tank rises from behind the stage; then the encores "Two Minutes To Midnight" (fantastic), "The Evil That Men Do" and the closing "Hallowed Be Thy Name" (that’s how to spell it not ''Hallowed By The Name''), although the audience was hoping for an additional "Run To The Hills" or "The Number Of The Beast".

In conclusion, a great concert. UP THE IRONS!!
