Telegraphic review for a group that has really little to say.

Well-written review but in my opinion a bit too biased; the album is definitely disappointing for me, surely their weakest.

This album has always felt a bit heavy to me, not bad, I mean, but somewhat of a brick. The review is still good, though.

How nice, there's a sudden burst of reviews on the Genesis at Debaser! The review is well written and I can understand your reasons, but personally, I've never really liked this album, even though it is undoubtedly the work of a band that still had something to say, so I feel inclined to show a bit of indulgence; it could have been worse...

I don’t know the exact date, but in an interview this fall they said they wouldn’t go to the Gods because it had become too commercial, but that they would find an alternative in Italy. Let’s hope...

Simple, a Gh is easy to use and people already know what to expect, which is why it's a safe bet.

I quite agree with you on the concept you're trying to convey, which is that this album often goes beyond prog. However, regarding this matter, I could argue that saying "prog" is both saying everything and nothing at all because one could get lost in endless discussions about what Progressive really is, and especially whether it refers solely to a series of technical solutions adopted or if the term can also relate to a broader concept, including the very idea behind an album or its lyrics, for example. In this case, I would feel fully justified in asserting that this is a great prog album, but everything would become subjective (and often it is right that it should be).
That said, I honestly have never been able to fully appreciate this work, even though I recognize the incredible creative spark from which it was born. Moreover, it's inevitable to compare it with what I believe are the masterpieces of Genesis, namely "Foxtrot" and "Selling England," and this one loses that comparison because it certainly seems less homogeneous and more (forgive the term) "random." Nevertheless, great review.
