Great album, great artist. The sequence of albums he created between '77 and '80—"The Stranger," "52nd Street," and "Glass Houses"—is wonderful and highly recommended.

I like your intervention 45 Mr. Moustache, but I must intervene in the topic, even playing the usual role of the uninvited guest, regarding a couple of things. The first one, I mention briefly because I've already said enough about it and I don't want to restart old disputes, concerns your phrase: "there's nobody here who breaks your balls if for 16 times you see a triangle on a black background on the Pink Floyd review homepage;" Well, I'm sorry, but if you take a look at the various duplicates (and not just the PF ones), I believe this statement of yours is not exactly correct ;-) The second one, instead, is more specific about the behavior of the reviewer in question (now everyone knows that Azzo, the main "interlocutor," and I have a very good relationship, but I assure you that my view is absolutely impartial or at least tries to stem from such premises): the fundamental problem, I believe, is not Taxirider's peculiar characteristic of "making duplicates" (which I personally don't find wrong) but a predisposition on his part to approach the writings with a bit of presumption (like the phrase that concludes the first paragraph and the one that begins the second) only to fill them with at least a couple of gross (historically verifiable and objective) errors. This wouldn't be a problem either (everyone can make mistakes) if our friend weren't a repeat offender and didn't respond to the various rightful criticisms and corrections (even if presented calmly) with tones, to be kind, decidedly out of place. I think this is the crux of the matter and nothing else. That's all. Bye.

I wouldn't say they're plagiarists, rather they are charming (not to mention pleasantly technically skilled) quoters. In those years, they were making waves in their own way. Nice review, perhaps a bit too "assertive" for the case of the Scorpions ;-)

Good Pop album, exaggerated review.

To be or not to be, that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles
And by opposing end them.
To die: to sleep;
No more;
And by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd.
To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of disprized love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pitch and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.
